Pickurberry.com has recently launched a new collection by inspiring designer Romina Karamanea. As soon as you click onto the site you are graced by two of her designs; a red printed, backless jumpsuit and a two piece outfit consisting of a pair of trousers that uses the same print as on the jumpsuit, and an elegant crisp, white crop shirt (which I would personally kill for)!
When you see a glimpse of the capsule you are instantly drawn into the colours used and the imaginative print. Romina understands that making a statement doesn’t mean you have to go over the top; her pieces are teamed with understated pieces, yet you still have that wow factor. Now that is what I call good styling.
Romina Karamanea, the Athens born, London based designer graduated from the prestigious Central Saint Martin’s College of Art & Design with a post graduate degree in innovative pattern cutting and has since worked with the likes of Clements Ribeiro, Robert Cary-Williams, and Preen before launching her brand on September 2008.
That is what I love so much about Pickurberry, these designers are not amateurs, they have real experience with top names. With that experience comes the knowledge of what fabrics will work best, what cuts suit most women and how you can marry so many ideas and capture the imagination of thousands.
