YSL Launch Their Very Own Cigarettes in Russia & Asia

As we all know advertising smoking is banned in Europe and quite a few Asian countries due to the extensive health issues that are caused. However, this hasn’t stopped French fashion powerhouse to promote the addictive habit to maximise their profit turnover. They have even used a model that look indentical to Kate Moss, who was seen smoking down the Louis Vuitton catwalk earlier this year on non-smoking day (very naughty!)

The purpose of these cigarettes, like all products that we feel we have to have in our lives are selling not only the product itself, but the lifestyle that comes along with it. Let’s face it when we see a YSL dress and then see a dress from not such a prestigious brand, we opt for the YSL, why? Becuase everyone knows that YSL are extremely expensive and so if you are wearing such a dress, that means you have money, success and power (and us being humans, we all want a least one of those).

This is why it’s so dangerous (luckily not for us, as these Yves Saint Laurent cigarettes are being sold in Russia and Asia, selling for $44 per 20 pack) we all want a taste of what it’s like to be someone who can afford the finest things in life and as we see the likes of Kate Moss and other models smoking, we want to be smoking what they are.
